Striking a pose with Hello Kitty!
Stepping into Hello Kitty Town at Nusajaya Johor, Puteri Harbour was a surreal experience for me. Nestled at Nusajaya Johor, Puteri Harbour, it is situated at the southernmost marina and waterfront development of mainland asia. Hello Kitty Town is the first Sanrio theme park outside Japan. It is only about ten minutes away from Legoland. It consists of a variety of Hello Kitty themed walk-through attractions, rides and activities.
As a kid, I have always been enamoured by this Sanrio character. I started collecting Hello Kitty plush toys when I was seven years old. Being in Hello Kitty land is synonymous to entering a dream fantasy world.
Though, many of the activities were targeted at kids, I enjoyed participating in them as they made me feel young again.

There were a few“wishful studios” such as “Nail Salon”, “Jewellery Making”, “Cookie Studio” There were long queues at the studio so I only managed to participate in a cookie painting workshop at the "Cookie Studio". There is even a photography studio where you can dress up as Hello Kitty, My Melody or Badtz-Maru and be photographed.

Having fun on Kitty's Bed
Tour round Hello Kitty's home and be awed by her beautiful bedroom, living room, kitchen and dressing area. One of the most popular attractions was the Hello Kitty Black Wonder - a high-tech interactive themed experience where you have to solve a series of puzzles and unravel the mystery to save Hello Kitty who is held captive in the castle.

Dazzling Live Parade
You must not miss the 'Happy Carnival' parade where you can see life-sized Hello Kitty and friends showcasing a dazzling performance.

You can get up close and personal with them and capture many lovely shots. Friendship Land with its playground and enjoyable teacup rides never fails to charm kids.
