Recipe - Caprese Salad


Caprese Salad is one of my favourite Italian creations as it is refreshing, tangy and versatile.

It is perfect for an appetiser, simple lunch or mid-day snack.


Ingredients:

Burrata Cheese - 1 pack

Tomato - 2 or 3 large ones

Basil Leaves - 8 to 12


Seasoning:

Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Pepper - 1 teaspoon

Parsley - 1 to 2 teaspoons

Oregano - 1 to 2 teaspoons


Method:

  1. Slice the Tomatoes. Slice the Mozzarella Cheese (It is recommended that you get the pre-sliced ones.)

  2. Add the Tomatoes and Mozzarella in a bowl.

  3. Add Olive Oil, Parsley, Oregano, Salt and Pepper.

  4. Mix all the ingredients together

  5. Assemble the ingredients.

  6. Dish is ready to be served.
