I was introduced to D’mure products by a friend. D’mure is a relatively new beauty brand in the market and it originates from Thailand. I decided to try the products as they are natural and are made using fruits and vegetables. I have combination skin which can be a little sensitive at times, therefore, I have to ensure that the products I use do not contain too much chemicals. D’mure’s products are gentle on the skin and do not cause burning or flaking of the skin. You may not see results instantly, however if you use them religiously, your skin will look clearer, fairer and more translucent. They are also reasonably priced so you will not burn a hole in your pocket.

Vitamin C Essence
To me, Vitaman C Essence is one of the most important beauty products. Constant use of Vitamin C makes my complexion fairer and more radiant. It also fades away age spots, acne scars and pigmentation. D’mure’s Vitamin C essence is made of mostly natural products which are beneficial for your skin such as Vitamin C Ethyl Ester, Mulberry extract, Hydrolyzed collagen, Chamomile extract, cucumber extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ginseng extract, Sodium PCA, Vitamin B3, Aloe Vera extract, Vitamin B5 and Centella extract. Chamomile, cucumber and aloe vera have soothing and calming properties and help to reduce redness while mulberry contains high concentration of Vitamin C. When mulberry is consumed into the body, it will strengthen your body as it contains magnesium, potassium, calcium, Vitamin C and iron. A few weeks ago, I used some prescription creams and my skin became red, blotchy and dehydrated. After looking at the ingredients of D’mure’s Vitamin C Essence, I decided to give it a try. The texture is smooth and light and is readily absorbed into my skin. I use it faithfully on my neck too. After application, the skin feels instantly brighter and more luminous and my makeup stays longer on my skin. After using the product for about three weeks, my skin is more radiant. The red marks are starting to disappear too. This product is suitable for almost all types of skin as it is very gentle.

Anti-Acne Serum
I was a little hesitant to use this at first because my skin is very sensitive and I was afraid that it would lead to breakouts. However, I decided to try the product after examining the ingredients. The main ingredients include Liposome Retinol A, Zn complex, Chamomile Extracts, Tricolasan, allantoin, GPAG and Grapeseed extract. Retinol is a form of Vitamin A and helps to exfoliate and renew your skin. It also helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scars. I have used Retin A several times however, I find it a little too harsh on the skin and it leads to extremely dry, parched and dehydrated skin. Therefore, I decided to try it as retinol is a gentler version of Vitamin A. The grapeseed extract also helps to soothe the skin. I started using this product on alternate days and gradually I used it daily. My skin is more balanced now and less oily and I also noticed that my whiteheads and blackheads are greatly reduced. I also suffer less from breakouts.

Sunscreen Cream SPF40 (PA++)
Sunscreen is one of my skincare essentials too. I have to use one that is suitable for my skin type. Usually a sunscreen which is too heavy or oily will clog my pores, leading to the formation of acne. Using a thick sunscreen will also cause my makeup to look cakey. Dmure’s Sunscreen is made of Aqua, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin E Acetate, Aloe Vera Extract, Silicone Oil and Glycerine. Aloe Vera helps to calm and soothe the skin while Vitamin E aids healing. I like the texture of this sunscreen. It is light-weight, non oily and allows my makeup to stay on for a longer time. It also does not have a strong smell unlike some sunblocks. I use this sunscreen cream daily to shield my skin from the harmful effects of the sun.

Perfect Night Repair Mask
This is a creamy leave-on mask that is packed with natural ingredients to nourish the skin from deep within, leaving a rosy glowing, supple and youthful skin the next morning. The main ingredients include Alpha Arbutin, Apple extract, Turmeric Extract, Mulberry extract, Barley rice extract, Zingiber extract, Lotus stamen extract, Collagen, Macadamia oil, Glycerin, Liposome Vitamin C & E and Sabiwhite. I started using this mask about a month ago. The texture is light and smooth and feels like a moisturiser. A few weeks ago, my skin was dry, itchy and blotchy. However, after using this mask, my skin no longer feels dehydrated. It now looks glowing. It is the perfect mask to use when you have an event the next day. It will leave your face looking radiant and fresh. Long-term use of this product will keep your skin in tip-top condition. I try to use it once a week. So far, I have been very satisfied with the results and I am likely to continue using it.
